Shelfstore “Booked” on The Apprentice

So how many of you are keeping up to date with one of BBC One’s most popular business program – The Apprentice?

For those of you who don’t know, it’s where ambitious entrepreneurs seek to demonstrate their commercial insight and business sense to try and impress Lord Sugar – in the hope that they get the chance to go into a business partnership with him.

The team at Shelfstore are huge fans of the BBC One program and it just so happened that last night, while watching the episode, we spotted a Shelfstore bookcase.

Lord Sugar set the candidates a task to write and design a children’s book before going out and trying to sell it onto some of London’s most popular bookshops.

When it came to the candidates having to flog their masterpieces, they had to do pitches in front of industry experts. Both teams tried to shift their stock to one of the most popular bookshops around – Foyles. And it just so happens that a Shelfstore bookcase appeared behind the experts they did the pitch for.

Although both teams seamed to struggle for sales with the industry experts at Foyles, the Shelfstore bookcase took a starring role.
